Get to know the ice
In the largest indoor sports center in Europe you will find three ice tracks. On our semi-covered 400-meter track with doodle track, young talents, recreationists, skating school De Uithof, skating clubs and competition skaters can find their way to skate. The other two 30 x 60 meter covered tracks are suitable for beginners, skaters, ice hockey, figure skating, short track and curling.
400 M skating
Our 400 meter track is one of the oldest artificial ice tracks in the Netherlands and certainly not the least! January 2, 1973, the artificial ice track was officially opened. In 1989 a roof was built, making the track semi-covered. We now welcome thousands of skaters every year and even Kjeld Nuis from skating team Team LottoNL-Jumbo has started skating on our 400-meter track. The skating track is open from October to April.
In the middle area of the 400-meter track is the covered funrink of 30 x 60 meters, which you can easily reach via the walk bridge. In the funrink you do not have to take the mandatory driving direction into account. The funrink is open from October to April.
Ice hockey hall
In addition, there is a separate ice hockey track. This course is suitable, among other things, for novice skaters, school skates, ice hockey, figure skating, short track and curling. The ice hockey hall is open all year long.
