Rules

*It’s important to wear comfortable clothing. De Uithof rents out certified race-overalls and helmets for free.
*Track officials and the extensive safety precautions guarantee your safety. Please do follow up instructions at all times.
*Seatbelts and helmets are obligatory at all times.
*No eating, drinking or smoking on the track.
*No crashing on purpose, go-karts are no bumping cars.
*Please keep your ticket and hand it over to the staff when you’re in the karts.
*There are four flags and a couple of flashing lights on the track. Staff will use those flags and flashing lights to inform you during the race.

Yellow flag / Yellow flashing light:

Something has happened on the track. It can be a collision, a congestion or something’s stuck with his kart. Staff is trying to solve the problem and present on the track.
Action: Take your foot of the gas and don’t take over. You’re allowed to continue the race when the yellow flags/flashing lights are gone.

Blue flag:

There is somebody behind you who’s driving faster than you do.
Action: Please make way to let him/her pass.

Red flag:

You have ignored the yellow or blue flag or something is wrong with your kart.
Action: Stop immediately for instructions.

Black/White flag:

The well-known finishflag, the end of the race.
Action: Drive into the pit lane slowly.
